Winter/Spring Semester Course - Mash-ups: An adventure in mixed media
This 9 lesson course for students ages 6 and up will cover a variety of mediums, combined to create unique artworks.
Cost: $395 per student ($365 for each sibling) includes all supplies.

February Sale on after school class times! $120 per student for the month of February only (new registrations).
February: We'll start off the semester with a lesson on composition and balance. Older students will combine the art of woodburning and painting and optional items such as tissue, gold leaf and even tea to create two unique projects...a small item that can be used as a key chain or pendant, and a plaque that can be displayed.

February: Younger students will learn about composition and balance as they create 3 dimensional collages using paint and foam based on favorite activities or memories. Lots of tactile and creative fun!

March: Lessons will combine watercolor with the paper art of quilling. All students will learn about perspective, paper rolling techniques and watercolor techniques to create a unique, multi layered artwork.

April: We'll end the semester with a mosaic project using colorful acrylic skins (recycled acrylic paint) and alcohol ink.
As always, we'll finish the semester with a party to celebrate the kids' hard work! |
