2025 Fall Art Class Schedule for Jr. High and High Schoolers (ages 12 and up)

Printmaking
​This semester, students will learn various printmaking techniques, including mono printing on gelli plates, multi color printing using linocut blocks, and mixed media incorporating charcoal drawing, acrylic paint and print. Lessons will include  history of printmaking, how to plan a composition, color theory, foreshortening and use of mixed media.
Jr. High and High School students registered for the printmaking class AND the fall classes (see classes tab above) save 10% when they register for both.

*All skill levels welcome! 
*$395 per student includes all supplies,  printed lesson plans and reference materials, video tutorials and online group sessions ($355 if also registered for "World Art" classes).
*I am a vendor with most charter schools.
*Wednesdays 5:00 - 6:00 pm 
Dates of sessions (subject to change): 9/10,  9/17, 9/24  (*No class 10/1, 10/8/ 10/15), 10/22, 10/29, 11/5 (*no class 11/12), 11/19, (*no class 11/26), 12/3, 12/10
Students in my high school class will be encouraged  and taught to:
*Plan a project from idea stage to completion
*Take part in art critiques, learning how to apply observation and critical thinking skills
*Be creative.  Students will be given freedom to tailor their projects to their interests and abilities. 
*Demonstrate an understanding of the foundational elements and principles of art.
